Regulatory Hosting Services
Regulatory authorisation and compliance in general require detailed knowledge of the subject matter and great attention to detail – mistakes here can result in more than just a slap on the wrist.
Additionally, set up processes can take a long time, not helped by delays in communication and unfamiliarity with a new system.
Our approach and the way we designed our solutions aim to alleviate those challenges by using time tested and pre-approved processes and high-quality partners to make sure things are done right with the best possible delivery times.
Our Approches To Regulatory Hosting
Regulatory Hosting is our area of expertise, with decades of experience in the sector and as an independent consultancy, we are able to tailor the comprehensiveness of our solution to each individual client and ensure a truly unbiased approach.
Compliance Consulting
Becoming regulated, especially in Europe, requires detailed knowledge in order to make an informed choice as to what approach is best. The whole region is subject to the MIFID law as an overarching legal framework; however, each jurisdiction is not only free to interpret the law in their own way but also have the capability to enforce additional requirements. Because of this, a license from a German regulator, for example, might work for one firm but be completely unsuitable for another.
We provide our clients with a detailed overview of the marketplace, saving weeks of discovery; provide advice on suitability of their current set up, including suggestions to any changes that need to be made; and offer a number of suitable solutions based on their preferences including a roadmap of how to implement those and any introductions to the relevant service providers.
Application and onboarding Support
After the right jurisdiction and service provider have been selected, an application and onboarding process needs to be completed. The process varies between providers and from jurisdiction to jurisdiction and can be confusing, especially when it comes to choosing the right format for KYC documents or making sure all questions are answered in the way expected by the regulator or a service provider.
We assist our clients in going through the whole process to make sure everything goes smoothly, minimizing any potential for delay due to additional clarifications.
Infrastructure set up and maintenance
In some cases, either certain adjustments need to be made to the current set up or a new, additional arrangements need to be implemented. For example, becoming a Tied Agent in Europe requires local presence which involves incorporating a local entity, appointing a local qualified director, arranging for the banking set up and any other auxiliary services such as accounting. This can take precious time, especially if the applicant is not familiar with local business culture, laws and service providers. After the application has been granted this new infrastructure needs to be maintained in order to ensure the continuity of the authorised status.
We leverage our knowledge and existing relationships to assist our clients with the set up, implementation and maintenance of the compliant infrastructure, which has been checked and approved by the license holder as well as the regulator. This approach no only significantly reduces delivery times and allows our clients to focus on business growth and development instead of sinking time into figuring out how to implement required changes; but also significantly simplifies the whole process – we take care of everything on behalf of our client.
Infrastructure with marketing support
Having an on the ground marketing director is a hard requirement in many EU jurisdictions and some firms struggle to secure the right person, delaying the application. The marketing director carries out some promotional duties to satisfy local presence requirement, with the rest of regulated persons – individuals from the client firm, doing the rest of the work.
Marketing Support solution, which is our most comprehensive service and includes all of the above listed products – compliance consultation, application support, infrastructure set up and maintenance plus the provision of a qualified marketing director. This approach is aimed at making the process of getting authorised as quick and as easy as possible for our clients using the “one to many” approach. We effectively take care of all the legwork that comes with becoming authorised as well as maintaining the authorised status, providing the most complete solution for our clients.

How We Cover Jurisdictions?
Using our partner network, we are able to offer Regulatory Hosting for UK, EU, UAE and Qatar. European solution is provided either through Germany, Portugal or Cyprus, depending on our clients’ requirements with UAE and Qatar only available through Cyprus.
Which Jurisdiction is best for MIFID license. Like with many things the answer is it depends, in other words what works for one company may not work for another. This is because every jurisdiction applies its own interpretation of the law as well as additional unique requirements. On top of that local maturity and efficiency of the infrastructure, culture, language, employment as well as tax laws need to be considered.
